THE JELLESTAD SHIP

The idea to build a full-scale Viking ship up between the trees in Klatreparken came to us in autumn 2018.

The news that a Viking ship had been found on the land at Jellestad went around the world this autumn. We thought this was very exciting, and that we could use this as an obstacle in the adventure park. The ship hangs at 3 m in the green track, and is 21 m long and 5 m wide! 

 

If you want to experience standing atop a Viking ship, you are most welcome to the adventure park.

The farm Ekås, on which the adventure park is located, was originally a homestead that was subject to Jellestad, so it is extra fun to have the Jellestad ship up between the trees.
